Vehicle Ownership Transfer

Promptly transferring vehicle ownership post-sale is crucial, yet the time-consuming procedure often leads sellers to overlook this vital step. The Vehicle Ownership Transfer, or RC (Registration Certificate) transfer, holds immense significance, as per regulations. Until the RTO officially acknowledges the ownership transfer, you continue to be considered the bike’s owner. Fortunately, when you choose to sell your bike through Pro Speed Motors, this cumbersome responsibility is lifted off your shoulders, as we handle the entire bike ownership transfer process on your behalf.

Necessary Documents for Vehicle Ownership Transfer

Registration Certificate (RC)

Original copy of the Registration Certificate

Pollution Under Control (PUC)

Mandatory pollution certificate to ensure the used car is a clean, non polluting vehicle.

Insurance

A valid insurance certificate is needed.

Form 29 and Form 30

Both forms need to be affixed with passport-size photographs of the buyer and the seller along with being duly filled and signed by both parties.

No Objection Certificate (NOC)

A must have form for interstate RC transfers. However, it’s also compulsory for car transfers within the state as well for some states.

Address Proof

Lastly, an address proof of your residence such as an Electricity Bill, Voter ID, Passport, Ration Card, etc. is required to be attached with other documents.

How to check vehicle ownership transfer status?
